A cab-ride journey from Robert’s Road Depot at Doncaster to Peterborough mostly along the estwhile GN&GE Joint line (avoding the East Coast Main Line (ECML) aboard a Class 66 loco of GBRf.

In Doncaster, we depart from GB Railfreight's Robert's Road Depot and pass through St James’s Jct (Goods), Bridge Jct, Balby Bridge Tunnel, Sand Bank Jct, Decoy North Jct, Decoy South Jct, Flyover West Jct, Flyover East Jct and onto the GN&GE Joint Line.

Travelling along this line, we now pass Bessacarr Jct, Trent West Jct, Gainsborough Trent Jct Signal Box, Trent East Jct, Gainsborough Lea Road, Saxilby, Pyewipe Jct, West Holmes Jct, Brayford Jct before arriving at Lincoln.

Carrying on our journey, we pass Pelham Street Jct, Branston & Washingborough Cross Roads Tunnel, Metherington, Ruskington, Sleaford North Jct, Sleaford South Jct and Spalding where we leave the GN&GN joint line (it used to continue directly on to March - The "March - Spalding Direct" but this was closed in 1982) onto the ex-GN line towards Peterborough.

We now pass Glinton Jct, then go under the East Coast Main Line using the newly opened (2021) Werrington Underpass (sometimes called the Werrington Dive-under but officially called the "Werrington Grade Separation") to Marholm Jct, New England North Jct, Spital Jct and Peterborough North Jct. before terminating at Peterborough Station.
