Cross Country to Kirkby Stephen. The line from Penrith through Appleby East and Warcop to Kirkby Stephen in the years before closure. The intermediate stations are featured from various viewpoints in the 1950s & in 1960. Includes a look at the branch in the 1970s and 1980s with freight and excursion traffic.

Serving the Southern Lakes. The lines to Windermere and Windermere Lakeside plus the freight line to Sandside. Lines around Lancaster with the branch to Wennington and the ‘Little North Western’.

The Alston Branch. The line from Haltwhistle to Alston using unpublished archive film taken around 1967 with a variety of ‘green’ DMUs.
