Cab Ride CLS28: Carlisle and Gretna Green to Dumfies and Kilmarnock (G&SWR) in 2024

A cab-ride journey aboard a Class 70 loco of Colas Rail from Carlisle to Kilmarnock.

Starting from Carlisle, we travel along the WCML, passing Carlisle North Jct, Kingmoor Jct, Mossband Jct to Gretna Jct where we leave the WCML and pass onto the ex-GSWR main line.

Next we pass through Gretna Green, Annan, Dumfries, Drumlanrig Tunnel, Sanquhar (and it's summit), Kirkconnel, New Cumnock, Bank Jct, Auchinleck, Mauchline Jct, Mossgiel Tunnel & Kay Park Jct before terminating at Kilmarnocks platform 3.

There is some occasional slight picture interference from windscreen heating element and with light deflector on windscreen there is some picture greyness.

Owing to wheel flats signaller advised a 30mph restriction towards the end of the journey.
